The Color Room

I've been playing along with The Color Room again lately, unfortunately I've been terribly slack and I haven't uploaded my layouts. To tell the truth I've only just photographed them, there was no point when I haven't had a mouse for the computer...... Kids, scissors, temptation.......

Very Lucky - Just beautiful photos of mum with the kids. Something we will always cherish and I hope they will too. Just playing around with some GORGEOUS Webster's Pages and a few other little bits. I was a little ekkkk, when I saw this combo, but LOVE how it has turned out.

Fast - Dea just goes and goes and goes. He is the most energetic of all four kids. Never seems to stop or tire. Quite amazing really for a little lad. Love my Tape background, so fun and fast. Mix of My Little Shoebox here, worked perfectly with the combo. I do love the colour of the photo though and it gives it a little more punch.

Mwah - When I first saw the colours of this palette I was a little thrown. So I kept it fairly mono with the pink and added small touches of red, orange and brown. I like this photo of Charlotte, love her eyelashes and that where the theme of this came from. She has superlong lashes and loves to give sweet butterfly kisses. Again some beautiful Websters Pages in this one.

Just STUFF =)

Yeah just a bit of 'stuff', a step by step, Friday Night Scrapping and a 15 minute layout :)

Gotta love that mix don't you???

First off......

Busted - this is my 15minute layout. I just cut, stuck, doodled and stitched. Can't believe it came together to quickly. I wan't suppose to be scrapping I had snuck into my room to clean it up so I could scrap tonight. Saw a few bits sitting around and it was finished before I knew it. Was great to use some of the little bits that were laying on my desk, less to clean up too. lol. Anyway used my DT kit from Annas for this, OMG was sooooo spoilt this month. Fun Sassafras Indie Girl mixed with the gorgeous Prima butterfly. Caught Adam climbing down from Deacons bed the other day. How he didn't end up head first was beyond me. Ever other time he tries to climb down from anything he does.

Show Off - More Sassafras from my DT kit. This was my last layout from Friday night, yep I know slack for only getting them up now. Cut the bracket shape from my corrugated card. Painted some calico and matted the cardboard and fringed the calico, really do like to fringe things lately too :) Just the crazy antics of Char. The girl comes up with some mad moves and is such a show off.

Making Hay - Another Friday Layout, this time using Bella Blvd, I LOVE this collection. This is how we spent a week at the end of last month. I didn't get a photo of Luke raking the hay unfortunately or my hands the afternoon after I helped load, unload and stack the hay.

Hey Freckles - ummmmm yep you guessed it another from Friday Night and another using my DT kit and Sass :) sooooo inspired by Amanda Hall for this layout, I was flicking through an old issue of Scrapbook Creations and came across her layout and everything about it was perfect. It's a bit like hers but it also has a lot of me :) must have to give a shout out to Anthea too for the dots idea :) LOVE IT <3

lastly

Growing up Too Fast - This was my January step by step layout for Annas, using October Afternoon, so fun. Can't believe that in a month this little bloke is going to be ONE. So soon, time is too fast and I don't think I'm ready for him to grow up yet. I don't know where my up close shots have gone but they are GONE :(

Thanks for taking the time to stop and look and comment too

See ya all later

A not so mini MINI

This is my last January Project for Annas Craft Cupboard :) ABSOLUTELY loved putting this together, a collection of my January photos for my photo a day challenge, which I should update on my blog.

October Afternoons Modern Homemaker worked so well with this, isn't the little house album CUTE. I ended up removing a few of the paper pages and I used my Fabric Stiff from Helmar on a couple of pieces of calico, once dried I traced the house shape cut it and stitched the edges. Thought this added just a little more homely feel. Plus another range of texture through the album. I've kept it quite simple too. Didn't want to bulk it up too much seeing as there is heaps of pages.

Crazy thing, just looking through these photos and I've noticed that there is none of Deacon :( makes me feel like he's not important, but it's not that, he just RUNS from the camera now.

Hope you enjoyed my album, thanks so much to Anna for allowing me to do it for a DT Project
