hmmm, ummm, I forget????

I was so excited to see that Anna had sent me some Echo Park - For the Record this month to play with. I've loved this line since I first saw the sneaks. Fabulous vintage inspired prints and colours which actually screamed girly to me.... lol, in typical fashion I scrapped my boys instead.

My Middle Man - There isn't much I can say about Dea that I haven't actually said in the past month or so. He is really different to Zac and to Adam too. He is different in looks, he is different in attitude, he is very different in many ways. Suppose that's what comes with being the one in the middle.

Deacon - Pretty self explanatory right now.

Truck Boy - Adam and his truck. lol. I would LOVE to buy the really huge Tonka truck but when it's $80 I just don't see the value in it. Especially when the other two boys would want one too. This is actually based on a Pencillines sketch from a few weeks back.

She Is.........

Do you ever take a photo that technically is far from perfect but really is just PERFECT..... Little bit like this really. I got some gorgeous photos of Charlotte last weekend, but this one just screams a million little things to me. I do really love how it's so over exposed, and that there are a few little sun flares captured too. The way it highlights her hair and the cute little pose. My girl is growing up way too fast.

She Is - My take on this months Scrap the Girls challenge. First time I've played along too (you shocked??? there is challenges I haven't done) Huge mix of manufacturers - Sass, My Minds Eye, Echo Park, Tattered Angels plus OMG I used my Cricut again....

Making Flowers :)

Since Aussie Scrap Source have been doing their Make it Yourself challenges, I've been 'meaning' to join in, had ideas just never got them down :( FINALLY. I got one finished. On time but not on time to email it too them (thanks so much to Suz who said I could email anyway xx)

You - This past weeks Challenge was flowers :) worked in well as I found a fantastic vid on how to make CUTE flowers. Past week that's all I've done really. lol
Pulled out this gorgeous paper by Echo Park. I've only had it sitting for 3 months, ekkk, and got stuck in.
Pic is one of the latest of Charlotte and the journaling is just me saying how I'm so thankful she loves school.

Yes I know all my up close pics are of my flowers but I'm a little excited at how well they turned out :)

Echo Park fun

I tell you Anna really spoils us DT girls, sooooooo lucky to be apart of this fabulous team, this month I also received some Echo Park Be Mine in my DT Box. I love the gorgeous pinks, and the patterns.

Ohhh Kissy - One of our wedding photos, I'm slowly getting through them, and I'm using the originals too so shoot me ;) I have the film (OMG, yes FILM) can you remember that stuff. I still love our photos,

Twirly Skirt - I brought this skirt not long before Christmas as a surprise for Charlotte, she absolutely LOVES it. It's so full and looks beautiful when she twirls. I went more with the black and white patterns and added in the red. The red tissue paper ruffles really makes it all pop I think

I'm working on a few projects tomorrow so here's hoping I have something to show tomorrow night :)

YAY

What do you get when you cross me with a million things????

I spent the past week cleaning out the house and one major spot my scrap room :) I came across so many different things that I forgot I owned. The best part was finding papers that I'd been looking for to complete a few challenges :-)

Bride - my take on the Prima January BAP really truely loved the sketch and it's pretty much based on it. Little loosely in places ;) Can't believe that we are coming up to being married 7 years in April. Where has that time gone.

Plane Spotting - This is for The Color Room they have an added twist to lift someone, doesn't take much to work out who I was inspired by :) gorgeously talented STACEY YOUNG totall fun working on this but really no one can lift her work, so incredibly detailed and textured. I did have fun trying though ;) fab mixture of Sassafras, Prima, My Little Bit of Whimsy, Pink Paislee, with a little touch of American Crafts, Echo Park and Basic Grey. Absolutely LOVED playing around with the kids and and watching the planes go over and the boats on the water. Hard to believe that this was back when Adam was 8 months old.

Sweet <3 - This was last weeks The Color Room challenge, I KNEW I had Sass papers that worked well with this combo and knew I hit jackpot when I came across this pattern, little bit of misting and masking, some fun embellies and it was done. A quick and easy page to be honest, gotta love when they come together so quickly. I do love this little girl, can't believe she started school today. ekkkkkk

what to share, what to share

As I'm typing this I really should be creating, but instead I'm trying to blog, lol and listening to the wind outside, sounds nasty.

Trying to remember what I have to share and what I dont, hmmmm, right now its not much

Flat Out - This was a Creative Scrappers sketch nearly 2 weeks ago now, OMG I am slack :( using the AWESOME Little Boy papers from Echo Park, they now have Little Girl too, I'm waiting for it to wing its way over now :) gosh I LOVE ANNA. Anyway this was a fun sketch, pretty much kept with it. All about Dea and his full on, flat out pace.

Miss Paige - this is the current Get Picky Challenge, fantastic sketch :) you really need to give it a go. This is all about Charlotte's best friend Paige, they are starting school together on Monday, ekkkkk. two little school girls. She is incredibly shy (wouldn't think so by these photos) but it's taken a long time for her to warm up to me and actually talk. Has the most gorgeous red curly hair and stunning eyes too. I can see her and Charlotte getting up to quiet a bit of mischief over the years ;) Using some fantastic bits and pieces from Prima, totally LOVE that iron on.

Right now that is it.
Here's hoping I have something to show over the next few days :)

Top 13 ;)

I've seen a few of my scrappy friends do their Top 10 of 2010 or a month by month of their favourite layouts. Well I couldn't decided on just 10 and I found some months that I actually didn't really like any of the layouts I did. Well shouldn't say that just not rating as favourites, plus some are out for publication too.

Ok sooooo my tally for 2010 was
Layouts - 210 (I found one I didn't count the other night)
I honestly didn't think I scrapped that much, some weeks I do NOTHING.

Here we go my favourites

Photoshoot at Home
(Published in Aussie Gallery in Creating Keepsakes)
Love that its simple and focused on the photos but still has details

Cheek
Adore the colours in this, the simple style mixed with messy splatters and lots of 'bits'

Footy Boy
(featured on Pink Paislee Blog)
LOVE the colours in this too, plus all the edges, the angled photo and style again

Joy
(published in Scrapbooking m.m)
this is a layout that I don't think I've shared at all. this was for a sketch challenge I was asked to do for the magazine. I do think my favourite part is that photo

Love the Way
(Websters Guest DT June)
I love the calico, the cut out diecut, the stamping and my tree. Feels so long ago when I took this photo

Me Right Now
(Published EntreArtiste)
Another that no one would have seen, LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour combo. I know I've done a few layouts using this same combo.

Our Crazy Christmas Photos
(featured on Crate Paper Blog)
Love every single aspect of this, the colours, those flowers, all the crazy cheeky photos. Just everything

Peace
(featured on Prima Blog)
first time I used one of my hipstamatic photos on a layout again loving these colours too. I think they would pretty good for a baby theme.

Room for One More
(published in Scrapbooking Memories)
it's all about the colour and distressing here for me. LOVE it.

Sticky Mess
For me it's all about the details. love them :)

Mum Take a Photo
It's the aquaish colour here that grabs me. Plus the story. That's what matters most.

Up to No Good
Messy messy messy. LOVE it. plus the not perfect photos.

You Crack Me Up
(published in EntreArtistes)
With this its EVERYTHING. I think this would have to be my most favourite layout of the year.

Have you done a top layout post, link me up. would love to see yours
